The fifth season of the Women’s Big Bash League i.e. WBBL 2019/20 will take place in Australia from October 18, 2019, to December 8, 2019. WBBL has the same eight teams as that of the Men’s BBL. In this article, we will see Women’s BBL (WBBL) 2019/20 all teams, full squads, overseas players, complete schedule, and all past winners.

Teams in 2019/20 Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL)

Brisbane Heat are the last year’s WBBL Winners. They had beaten Sydney Sixers in the final by 3 wickets to become WBBL|04 i.e. WBBL 2018/19 champions for the first time.

Full Schedule of the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) 2019/20

The league will start from October 18, 2019, with the first match scheduled at the North Sydney Oval ground in Sydney, where the four-times finalists, Sydney Sixers will take on Sydney Thunder.

WBBL 2019/20 final will be played on December 8, 2019.  Each team will play with each of the seven other teams, twice. Thus there will be 56 matches in the league stages.

The top four teams in the points table will compete in the two semi-finals.

Thus there will be 56 leagues matches+2 semi-finals+1 final = total 59 entertaining matches in the WBBL05.

Past WBBL Competition Winners From Year 2015/16 to 2018/19.

As you can see in the table below, Brisbane Heat are the defending champions. They won the WBBL Title last year, by beating Sydney Sixers in the final by 3 wickets.

Sydney Sixers have made it to all the four WBBL finals and won two of them (2016/17 and 2017/18).
Sydney Thunder had won the title in 2015/16.
