Indian talisman and ex-captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni will be seen producing a collection of stories related to the armed officers.
MSD, Honorary Lieutenant Colonel in the Parachute Regiment, in collaboration with Studionext will highlight a different collection of stories based on the life of brave army officers.
As per the sources, “The show will narrate stories of the brave Param Vir Chakra and Ashoka Chakra awardees. With compelling stories and intriguing content on board, the show is slated for a 2020 release”
The show will focus on the personal life of army officers. Dhoni wants to showcase the journey of these armed forces and the struggle their families go through while the men serve the nation.
Currently, the series is being scripted and the team is currently sorting all the necessary rules to get the shooting on-board.
Dhoni, who has been on sabbatical since the end of the World Cup 2019 said he would not be talking about the future of his career till January.
In an event in Ranchi, Dhoni said “January tak mat pooch (Don’t ask till January!)” for the question of his break from cricket and possible comeback into the national side.
Meanwhile, his love and respect for the Indian Army have always been an example for the youth. He has openly shown the desire to serve the Indian Army post-retirement from cricket and has been seen sporting camouflage gloves while wicket-keeping in the ODIs. He was earlier warned for wearing gloves that had the Parachute Regiment symbol during the world cup 2019 and thus had to switch back to normal gloves.
Also, after the semi-final match against New-Zealand, Dhoni had served the army for 2 weeks. He had joined the Army troops in the militancy-infested south Kashmir region on July 30 to carry out patrolling, guard duties and similar responsibilities just like other soldiers till Aug 15th.
