The 13th season of the Indian Premier League i.e. IPL 2020 was supposed to begin on 29th March 2020, Sunday in Mumbai and the final was to take place on 24th May 2020, Sunday again in Mumbai. But as we know due to the COVID situation the tournament was postponed and will now begin on 19th September 2020, Saturday. On the other hand, Virat Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore had a horror start to the season when they had lost their first 6 consecutive matches.

Indian Premier League 2020 Playing 11 Rules
- Maximum 4 overseas players allowed in the playing 11
- Maximum 4 overseas players are allowed to field (including the substitute fielders)
- Each team will get a 2.5 minute “strategic timeout” during each innings. One is taken by the bowling team between the 6th and 9th time and one is taken by the batting team in the 13th and 16th over.
- One DRS (Decision Review System) Review allowed per team per inning to challenge an umpire’s decision.
- The first 6 overs of each inning will be power-play in which only two fielders allowed outside the 30-yard circle.
- During the non-power-play overs, a maximum of 5 fielders is allowed outside the circle.

IPL 2020 Complete Schedule With Full Date, Venues, Time
Indian Premier League 2020 will begin on (Saturday) 19 September 2020. The tournament will end with the final on (Tuesday) 10 November 2020. The below table gives the complete schedule of the match.
The tournament will start with a bang with Mumbai Indians taking on Chennai Super Kings. Thus it will be the repeat of the last season’s final. Whichever team will win this first match will gain immense confidence for the rest of the matches in the IPL season 13.
There will be 56 league stage matches between Sep 19th to Nov 3rd in 3 Venues – Dubai , Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah.
